Attorney John Ogden Arnold is an experienced and dedicated immigration attorney who primarily practices in the areas of deportation defense and family immigration.
From 2016 until May of 2019, he worked in Georgia, appearing frequently in the Atlanta Immigration Court. During this same period, he also practiced criminal law, and family law (including divorce, custody and child support.) For clients whose immigration cases intersected with criminal or family law, his knowledge of multiple areas of law led to beneficial outcomes, including dismissal of a criminal charge, thereby protecting a client from a potential deportation.
Previously, he worked in Wisconsin for Cabranes Law Offices from 2014 to 2016, where he similarly worked in immigration, criminal, and family law. Attorney Arnold has represented clients in a variety of trials, including divorce, felony sexual assault, an auto accident trial, and individual merits hearings (which are essentially deportation trials in Immigration Court.)
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Attorney Arnold attended the University of Wisconsin Law School. As a law student, he interned for the Winnebago County District Attorney, where he prosecuted multiple trials including a drunk driving jury trial. He speaks fluent Spanish, and hopes to someday learn French and Hebrew. He currently exclusively practices federal immigration law in Minnesota through his Georgia law license. He enjoys hiking, baking bread, and watching movies.
